I’m Tess Bloomer, an end-of-life doula, visual artist, and massage therapist (CAMTC 83994). I consider my work to be a natural extension of how I move through the world.
I’ve always felt pulled to the spaces many prefer to avoid: thresholds, endings, the moments when things fall apart. Part of my mission is to uplift endings as sacred times and to bring death work out of the cultural shadows.
Death can be a time of both tremendous grief and transformation, and I honor the full spectrum. With loving presence, I’m here to support and allow for whatever is ready to unfold.
It’s my joy to incorporate therapeutic massage and visual art as a means of connection within the end-of-life space.
Art is my way of processing the ache and wonder I feel about the reality that everything’s constantly changing. The Legacy Commissions are my unique doula offering. These paintings are about honoring the individual with a visual legacy for loved ones and future generations to cherish.
As an end-of-life doula, I’ve trained with The Anam Cara Academy, DDLA, and INELDA. I am also a proud member of Beyond The Veil Doula Collective.
