I’m Tess Bloomer, an end-of-life doula, visual artist, and massage therapist (CAMTC 83994). I consider my work to be the natural extension of how I move through the world; how I listen, how I love, how I make meaning.
I’ve always felt pulled to the spaces many avoid: thresholds, endings, the places where things fall apart and reveal something new. Part of my mission is to restore the sanctity of endings and to bring death out of the cultural shadows.
Death can be a time of both tremendous grief and transformation, and I honor it all. With loving presence, I’m here to support and allow for whatever is ready to unfold.
I work with the living, the dying, the in-between, and the parts of ourselves that long to come home. It’s my absolute joy to incorporate massage and art as a means of connection within the end-of-life space.
Art is my way of processing and expressing the ache & beauty of everything changing. The Legacy commissions are my unique doula offering. These commissions are about honoring the value of the individual, and creating a visual legacy for loved ones and future generations to cherish.
As an end-of-life doula, I’ve trained with The Anam Cara Academy, DDLA, and INELDA. I am also a proud member of Beyond The Veil Doula Collective.
Thank you for being here.
I look forward to connecting with you.
